For more information, visit www.coopervision.com. * * *JOB TITLE: Global Sourcing Assistant * *SHIFT: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 16.30pm * ** *WORK LOCATION: Hamble* * * ** *JOB SUMMARY* * * The role is to provide administrative support to the Global Sourcing team by co-ordinating forecasts, consolidating supplier performance metrics, obtaining and sharing market information and analytics, and collecting supplier information relating to compliance. The jobholder will also support the team by arranging supplier meetings, co-ordinating visits and ensuring that presentation materials are updated. * * *ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS* ** Support the Global Sourcing Team by * Collate and trend material forecasts from CooperVision sites * Create and consolidate supplier performance score-cards * Create and maintain a data-base for all suppliers managed by the global team. This will include co-ordinating and collecting responses on compliance issues such as conflict minerals; anti-slavery statements; and materials regulatory status (REACh, TSCA etc) * Monitor supplier credit ratings and news updates * Create and maintain a contract repository, track and progress contracts through sourcing., legal and supplier reviews. Provide prompts for contract renewals and terminations as appropriate * Maintain category strategies and sourcing plans * Collate spend information and create analytics * Provide reports on spend and purchase price variance; support the preparation of budgets and standards * Provide administrative support for the Global Sourcing team, including setting up meetings, visits, preparing and updating presentation decks / //KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES/ * Administration * Analytical skills * A friendly and confident personality * Competent user of MS Applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint * Good communicator – written and spoken * Able to collect and analyse information /WORK ENVIRONMENT/ * Working within an office environment as part of a small team * Extensive use of computers and telephones * Occasional opportunities to travel nationally and internationally to CV sites and suppliers /EXPERIENCE/ * Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an administrative or secretarial role * Interest in purchasing, with opportunity for career progression /EDUCATION/ * Degree level preferred **Job:** **Supply Chain* **Organization:** **Purchasing* **Title:** *Global Sourcing Assistant* **Location:** *GBR-Hampshire-Hamble* **Requisition ID:** *HAM1705*
